Barbara Hodge - Chief Executive Officer
Currently serving as CEO at TVT, Barbara brings over 25 years of corporate management and sales experience to the organization. Previously, she has worked as a senior management executive with Fortune 500 firms. Barbara also has leveraged her past experience as a small business owner and President/CEO of her woman-owned consulting firm.
At TVT, Barbara is involved in all aspects of managing the day-to-day operations of the business and general oversight of the company. She is the primary point of contact within the organization, working with business advisors, leading the TVT team, and working with customers on an ongoing basis.
Bruce Hodge - President/CTO and Founder
Bruce has extensive experience in startups and has been awarded numerous patents in the technology field. Bruce is a U.S. Army Veteran, having served as a Paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne, Headquarters 3rd Brigade, based out of Ft. Bragg, NC. Following his years of military service, Bruce graduated with a B.S. in Computer Engineering from CalPoly, San Luis Obispo, CA. With 20-plus years in the technology industry, Bruce has worked in Silicon Valley for companies such as Northrop Aircraft Division, MIPS, Cisco Systems, Synoptics, Divicom and Apple. His experience with technology startups includes work as a founder of IP Planet Earth, an Internet access box for televisions that was developed 3 years before WebTV and Pure Carbon, a Human Resources outsourcing ASP application that was founded with the former Director of HR at Cisco Systems. At the RPI Business Incubator in Troy, NY, Bruce founded DynaScript Technologies, Inc. Bruce also worked on developing his technologies for training as a tenant at the Watervliet Arsenal Business Incubator (Building 44) in Watervliet, NY.
With Tech Valley Technologies, Inc., Bruce brings his vast knowledge and visionary approach to technology that is ahead-of-the-curve and focuses on futuristic applications for both sensing technologies and targeting systems. As President & Chief Technology Officer, Bruce works closely with the CEO and is the lead developer of TVT's technologies for realistic training. Bruce's primary responsibilities at TVT are research and development, as well as working with our customers to solve problems and develop technologies that help meet current and emerging training requirements.
Stephen Ryan - New Business Development
Steve brings a wealth of broad-based, professional experience to his role as TVT Business Development Manager. During Steve’s military career, he excelled having served 26 years with the U.S. Army, of which over 20 years was spent with Special Forces. His military career involved time spent as USASOC Range Branch Manager, First Sergeant 96th Civil Affairs Battalion, DOTD Advanced SF Skills Branch at Fort Bragg, NC, and 3rd and 10th SFG (A). More recently, Steve acted as Manager New Product Development and Director Product/Business Development for two separate companies that develop products for the military and related customers. In these capacities, Steve was successful in growing and closing new business by penetrating targeted and untapped markets via direct promotion, as well as by refining existing requirements.
Steve is a welcome addition to the TVT Business Development team, focusing on Outside Sales and as a Subject Matter Expert for TVT's customers.
